While it’s true that hotels in Las Vegas are famous for their gambling, that doesn’t mean it’s impossible to stay in a non-gaming hotel without a casino, even on The Strip. Some examples of hotels without a casino include the Four Seasons Hotel, the Elara, and the Mandarin Oriental. These are great choices for family vacations or even for individuals not interested in gambling.
Booking through Travelocity made my trip unbelievably easy. Everything was in one place on my phone. I booked my plane, hotels and transportation through Travelocity. It showed up on my phone in the order that it was scheduled. Everything was in one place. I arranged for long term parking separately. I could access it through my email but it was difficult in the midst of traveling to find it. Next time I will do everything through Travelocity! At one point I needed to check in to two different airlines. Thank goodness for Travelocity because all my information was there in one spot! Everything I booked was exactly as described. I read the reviews and looked at the descriptions and they were very accurate! The other thing that was very helpful was they attached maps of each airport I was in. This made things so much easier because I could see where I needed to go for my next flight! I will always use Travelocity in the future!!

The Strip is where all the Las Vegas magic happens. Beyond the iconic welcome to Las Vegas sign, the world’s biggest hotel-casinos dominate the view as far as the eye can see. Among thousands of square feet of utter extravagance, Bellagio’s Casino asserts itself as king. Pause at the Fountains of Bellagio, which leap to light and sound shows with typical Vegas showiness. Once you enter this palatial complex, you’ll be lost in a world of glittering lights, jingling slot machines, and stellar shows. Competing with Bellagio in the dramatic stakes is the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, a flamboyant theater which embodies the hotel’s Roman theme, and it hosts the Strip’s biggest entertainment shows. When you need a change of pace, head out of town. Red Rock Canyon is just outside Las Vegas. This Martian-like formation of hulking, copper-hued rocks is nature’s spectacular answer to the man-made wonders of the Strip.

In July 2012, the U.S. Department of Transportation fined Travelocity $180,000 after discovering that Travelocity's “flexible dates tool” did not always include fuel surcharges that were part of many international airfares in violation of the Department's rules requiring all carrier-imposed surcharges and fees to be included in every advertised fare. In addition, the DOT found that the customer was informed only on the final page before purchasing the ticket that some itineraries required a paper ticket with a minimum additional delivery fee of $29.95.
Under a constellation of dazzling lights, the Strip throngs with glamorous folk and star-struck visitors. The Eiffel Tower is illuminated against the night sky, boats punt along Venetian canals, and the roulette tables heat up with anticipation. Las Vegas is the city of fantasy, where dreams are realized and where fortunes are lost and won. It’s bold, brash, and it doesn’t hold back – you have to surrender to this exhilarating city and let it do with you whatever it desires.
